Job Description

Full-Time Accountant - experienced in International Import Export Trading.


The Accountant provides essential support and oversight for the financial operations of the company.


Key responsibilities include maintaining the integrity of financial reporting, ensuring timely transactional processing, and securing absolute compliance with UAE financial mandates. The role delivers targeted financial support across management, property management, and investment functions.


The position requires cross-functional collaboration to maintain accurate accounts, support the investor reporting ecosystem, manage critical vendor relationships, and ensure the consistent efficiency of the Corporate Services unit's financial workflow.


Key Responsibilities


? Posting day to day entries


? Preparation of commercial invoices from the system for the customers


? Maintaining a filing system

? Preparation, validation and submission of monthly and quarterly VAT returns as per the provisions of Federal Tax Authority, UAE

? Reconciling the bank statements and ensuring the accuracy of bank transactions


? Experience in Agro commodities will be an advantage

? Follow up with the logistics regarding export and import shipments

? Dealing with banks, clients and suppliers


? Specialised in Odoo accounting software


? Specialised in Neo Software used for Precious Metals industry

? Exporting Documents / Invoice, Dubai Customs Declarations, Packing List

? Preparation of final reports to management daily (Daily transactions and balance with the banks and other trading platforms)

? Anti-money laundering compliance as per UAE Central Bank Anti-Money Laundering Law

? Handles audit year end process and provides auditors financial Statements

? Preparation of monthly statement of account balance confirmation for the customers

? Financial analysis of Trial Balance before releasing Financial Report to Management

Qualifications


· Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting


· Experience with bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable


· Skills in financial analysis, forecasting, and compliance with financial regulations


· Knowledge of accounting software and tools; proficiency in Microsoft Excel


· Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time-management skills


· Attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks


· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field


· Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) are an advantage


Experience


2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably within Import Export Trading.

Experience in corporate services, real estate and property management is a bonus.

Demonstrated knowledge of UAE VAT and basic Corporate Tax processes.

Experience using accounting systems such as Odoo, Quick-Books, Zoho Books, Xero, or similar.

Skills & Competencies


Strong analytical abilities and financial accuracy.

Solid knowledge of accounting standards and general ledger functions.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

High proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookup, data analysis).

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
