A leading diamond trading, manufacturing, and retail company headquartered in Almas Tower, Dubai. We specialize in rough diamond sourcing, polished diamond trading, and high-end jewelry sales across global markets. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our finance team.


Role Overview-

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of UAE VAT, import–export documentation, and corporate tax filing. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting, ensure compliance with DMCC and FTA regulations, and support our trading and retail operations with accurate billing and reporting.


Key Responsibilities


Accounting and Finance-

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries, including purchase, sales, expenses, and general ledger.

• Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, supplier accounts, and customer ledgers.

• Prepare monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and management reports.

• Handle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable efficiently.


VAT and Corporate Tax Compliance

• Prepare and submit VAT returns on time as per FTA guidelines.

• Maintain VAT records, input/output reconciliations, and ensure compliance.

• Assist in Corporate Tax filing, record-keeping, and audits.

• Liaise with auditors, consultants, and authorities when required.


Import–Export and Trading Documentation

• Prepare and review import/export invoices, packing lists, and customs documentation.

• Manage shipments related to diamond trading, including DMCC processes and customs clearance coordination.

• Record costings for each shipment and maintain accurate inventory valuations.


Retail and Billing

• Handle billing for jewellery retail clients, including VAT-compliant invoices.

• Coordinate with the sales team for retail payments, POS entries, and customer receipts.

• Maintain stock movement records in coordination with operations.


Requirements

• Female candidate preferred.

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience with UAE-based companies.

• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws, FTA portal usage, and submission processes.

• Experience with corporate tax filing in the UAE.

• Knowledge of import–export trading, documentation, and customs procedures.

• Proficient in accounting software such as Tally.

• Strong Excel and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

• DMCC or diamond industry experience is an advantage.
