We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Site Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and site management, with a focus on overseeing construction projects from start to finish. As a Senior Civil Site Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely, safe, and high-quality execution of projects. You will work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and project managers to maintain site progress, compliance, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take accurate quantities and measurements of materials, labor, and equipment for construction activities to ensure proper project costing and scheduling.
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations on-site for ongoing construction projects.
- Supervise and coordinate with subcontractors and construction teams to ensure proper execution of project plans.
- Ensure all site works are carried out in accordance with the approved designs, project specifications, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and manage the quality control process to meet the project requirements.
- Collaborate with other engineering departments to resolve any technical issues or challenges.
- Ensure that all site documentation, including daily reports, inspections, and approvals, are accurately maintained and filed for reference.
Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met on-site, including safety standards, building codes, and environmental guidelines.
Provide technical advice and mentoring to junior engineers and site staff.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior site engineer role
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal requirements.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve complex engineering problems efficiently.
- Proficient in using civil engineering software and project management tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
