Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Develop and post job advertisements, conduct interviews, and assist in the hiring process.
  • Manage the recruitment process, ensuring timely and effective placement of employees.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a liaison between employees and management to address concerns or issues.
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
  • Resolve conflicts and mediate between employees to ensure a positive work environment.

Performance Management:

  • Support managers in setting performance goals for employees.
  • Help track and assess employee performance.
  • Assist in creating and implementing employee development plans.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and help implement programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Coordinate with training providers to ensure employees receive necessary training.

Benefits and Compensation:

  • Administer employee benefits programs (e.g., health insurance, retirement plans).
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with compensation regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee leave, absences, and time off.

Compliance:

  • Ensure company policies comply with local, state, and federal labor laws.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist in preparing reports for legal compliance and audits.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain and update employee records in HR software or databases.
  • Handle HR-related inquiries from employees, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Prepare HR reports on metrics like turnover, recruitment, or training efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR roles (typically 1-3 years).
  • Knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and recruitment strategies.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
