Procurement / Purchasing Officer with Pool and Landscape UAE experienced only



1. Responsible for all suppliers/sub-contractors negotiations which involve understanding and knowledge of competitive pricing for packages related to commercial/residential villa projects (mainly swimming pool, water feature, Hardscape, Softscape, Irrigation system construction good quality materials)


2. Within this role the procurement he is responsible for strategic and operational activities to support various site projects all materials/supplies purchases (concrete/trees/plants/etc).


3. Ensuring awareness and company compliance to all local construction guidelines.


4. Maintain all supplier details information updates on company server systems.


5. Maintain and implement materials purchases as per budget for each project approved BOQ before preparing LPO'S.


6. Meet clients, subcontractors and suppliers on-site as necessary.


7. Ensure accurate computations/takeoffs to ensure material purchases in within budgets.


8. Resourceful in research of new materials for cost savings.


9. Develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.


10. Establish new relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adequate resources for all projects and to continually improve negotiation pricing and quality of work.


11. Participate in pre- tender meetings, site visits and preparing site visit report to analyze the project scope of work.


12. Analyze supplier technical offers, as well in view of project specifications and standards for accurate purchases of materials.


13. Preparing comparative statements to analyze quotations and select the most appropriate vendors and subcontractors.


14. Prepare vendors cost comparative study report to get financial selection of vendors/ subcontractor & price.


15. Assist the management for preparing estimation in pre & post tender of commercial/residential pool & landscape negotiations with client and vendors as well to reach competitive pricing.


16. Working coordination with Estimation, Project Engineer, Project Manager, Accounts, Project manager and the whole team all the time.


17. Ensure timely preparation of all LPO's as per Site supervisor materials request, with complete attachments (approved quotation, material request form, supplier bank details, supplier).


18. Ensure to gather copies of suppliers VAT TRN, Trade license copy, Tax Invoices and bank details before payment.


19. Negotiate payment terms to suppliers and make sure to secure payment terms in the long run.


20. Professionally dealing with all suppliers and team at all times.


21. Coordination to Project Manager, Finance and GM for the approval of LPO's.


22. Assigned to project site work from time to time.


Requirements:


1. 3 to 4 years Dubai UAE Solid Experienced in Pool & Landscape construction – Procurement/Purchasing only.


2. Civil Engineer Graduate


3. Exceptional problem-solving/analytical skills.


4. Outstanding people leadership/management/ communication skills both written & speaking.


5. Strong organizational working skills with time management- with planning and execute work for each site project requisition of materials.


6. Exceptional professionalism and work ethics at all times (note: rude behavior is not acceptable)


7. With Valid UAE Driver's License.


8. Multi-tasking and hardworking.


9. With SOE valid membership.


10. with Approved DM certificates - is an advantage.
