In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial records. You will play a key role in supporting the financial health of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, payments, and maintaining accurate records.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are properly coded and categorized.
• Assist with the month-end closing process, including general ledger maintenance, accruals, and journal entries.
• Generate accurate and timely financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for cost savings and improvement.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard financial data.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• May participate in audits or tax preparation with external professionals (depending on company size).
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Quick Books
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (or actively pursuing).
• Experience in the accounting industry is a plus.
