We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant who will be responsible for supporting the Accounts Manager in day-to-day operations including:An Accounts Assistant plays a crucial role in the financial department of a company, supporting accountants and other financial staff by performing a variety of accounting and administrative tasks. Here are the typical job responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant:Duties and Responsibilities• ONLY with UAE experience (2-5 Years)• Strong working knowledge of standard accounting practices in the UAE including VAT compliance• Fluent in written and spoken English• Administrate and track all invoices• Assist day-to-day office activities• Reconciliation of accounts• Prepare financial report• Proficient in MS Excel• Receive and process all invoices, expense forms, and requests for payment• Working knowledge of accounting and financial processes• Verify calculations and input codes into the Accounts system accurately• Comfortable with computers, accounting software, spreadsheet software, and other financial applications• Handle daily transactions for petty cash and ensure reconciliations are completed weekly• Ensure all filing is done in a timely and accurate manner• Prepare cheques for payment• Ensure that all post is sent daily• Maintain monthly reconciliation worksheets for all items on the Balance Sheet• Maintain bookkeeping and office accounting needs• Collect payments and update accounts payable and receivable records• Prepare monthly reports requested by Management• Strictly adhere to the Company’s Policy on Confidentiality and Ethics• Perform all other tasks as requested by managementWe are looking for an Accounts Assistant to provide day to day support and co-ordination to the Accounts department.The Accounts assistant must have good organizational ability and communication skills.
